Union College offers active learning in a vibrant Christian atmosphere where students are empowered to lead. With a focus on undergraduate education, Union's nurturing atmosphere offers students a safe place to grow and prepare for careers of service and leadership. Union offers a traditional liberal arts environment combined with practical experiences such as internships, academic and career counseling, study abroad and volunteer opportunities.
In the comfortable campus atmosphere where professors, not graduate students, teach classes, Union students can choose from more than 50 undergraduate majors, minors and emphases in 27 fields of study, as well as a Master of Physician Assistant Studies, or a personalized degree. Union's newest academic option, International Rescue and Relief, is a high energy major that prepares students for careers of humanitarian service, mission work or disaster response around the world.
Union College enrolls nearly 900 students from 47 states and 30 countries. Founded in 1891, Union is an independent, four-year coeducational college owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The campus, 50 acres of tree-covered property in southeast Lincoln, is a site of the statewide arboretum system.
